Nederland Vertaalt

To emphasize the importance of good translation and to bring it to the attention of a wide audience, Verstegen & Stigter set up Nederland Vertaalt in collaboration with the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds.
Nederland Vertaalt consists of a translation competition in collaboration with the NRC and a Translation Day. In addition, Nederland Vertaalt provides a new weekly translation column in the Tear Calendar of the Genootschap Onze Taal.
The program consists of a plenary part at the beginning and end of the day for all visitors, four translation work groups and a lecture program. New this year is a mini translation competition (you could send in until 10 August), in which the three best translations (51 translations have been submitted) are sung by baritone Maarten Koningsberger.
